We built our Staw bale house nine years ago. We have really enjoyed it and have a small herd of Nubian dairy goats as well as horses, dogs, cats and chickens with the occaional raccoon, coyote, deer. We sell the goat milk, goat milk cheese, goat milk soap and goat milk lotion. The goat milk cheese is a creamy soft delight! You can get it with herbs or ad your favorite herb. Have you ever had goat milk ice cream? A rich and creamy treat!
I have been making goat milk Soap and Lotion for the past six years. Goats have such a bad rap. You will NOT smell like a goat if you use the soap and lotion. There are 10 different scents. Our best sellers are Oatmeal and Lavender. They are wonderful gifts, great for friends, family and you may even want to treat yourself!!!
My Mother saw the movie "A Walk in the Clouds", we were doomed! Pat and I planted our Vineyard in 2003. With the help of friends and family we planted 550 Zinfandel grapevines. We sold the 2006 harvest to a Winery. The 2007 harvest was slim. A late freeze and ton's of rain brought on Black Rot. We did sell some grapes to visitors and keep some for jelly and we even made some wine, for the family, it was VERY GOOD! The Gormet Zinfandel Wine Grape Jelly is for sale in our store. For thoses with a sweet tooth try the Red Zinfandel. The Blush Zinfandel as a sweet/tart suprise. They are both wonderful!
The 2008 kidding season was GREAT! We had alot of does and they were beautiful and healthy. Our milk supply is back to normal and the soap, lotion and cheese are in full production! The cheese is a big hit, my favorites are Mozzarella and Ricotta, YUMMY!!

We have opened the gates to the public on Saturdays from 9am to 6pm. Come take a walk in the vineyard and play with the goats. Come and enjoy nature, bird watch and bring the kids to have their picture taken on the pony Sugar. We have snacks and cold drinks for sale under the tent by the vineyard. It's a great way to spend a Saturday!
