We were blessed with 40 acres in Central Oklahoma. Tribbey Oklahoma to be exact. As some would say the middle of nowhere, others have said on the far side of nowhere. We just call it home!!

Pat and I built a straw bale home. It's been about 12 years ago and it's still standing. That big bad wolf, Oklahoma wind has not blown it down yet!!

The winter of 2011 we added a rustic cabin. It is the perfect Bed and Breakfast Cabin or so we have been told. The cabin is not entirely finished but has had lots of company already. There is a great view of the vineyard and if your lucky a look at some grazing deer on the hill.

In 2012 we added on to the pool deck. It is like a jungle. We love it and it provides such a wonderful place to relax in the shade.

We are in a secluded spot. We are in the heart of several thousand acres and our nearest neighbor is a mile away. Well we do have coyotes, deer, raccoons and other critters.  A road can not be seen from the house or cabin.

The Ranch is a small herd of Dexter cows (Clover Bell, Rosie and Gabby), goats (Berry, Stilts Under Foot, Sweet Pea and Dusty), a horse (the mighty Thunder) and chickens (to many to name). I make wonderful goat milk soap, if I do say so myself. I also make goat milk cheese that is pretty tasty. I'll be milking Gabby in October of 2012.

We are growing Zinfandel Wine Grapes. They make wonderful jelly and juice. The wine isn't bad either but something we don't make here. We have hobby wine makers come pick grapes and report back how good the wine is.
